When your pet is referred to an Ophthalmic Specialist, the journey begins with an in-depth consultation and discussion with you at Bayswater Veterinary Clinic in London. Our routine pet examinations and advanced diagnostic techniques include:

- Slit-lamp biomicroscopy and tonometry (rebound or applanation)
- Close and distant direct ophthalmoscopy

Meet the Ophthalmologists we work with:
Andrea graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013. She began her career in equine practice before relocating to the South, where she discovered her passion for ophthalmology. After four years at a large equine referral hospital, Andrea transitioned to a prominent ophthalmology referral centre on the South Coast in 2018. Over the next seven years, she completed her ophthalmology residency and advanced surgical training.
In 2025, Andrea joined Vet Eye Care, where she provides specialist ophthalmology consultations and surgeries. Her clinical interests include complex corneal surgeries, phacoemulsification (cataract surgery), and the surgical management of glaucoma.
Andrea has been offering ophthalmology referral services at Bayswater Referrals since 2023. Her commitment to delivering the highest standard of care has made her a highly regarded member of the team.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys CrossFit and has a deep love for animals, reflected in her ever-growing family of rescue pets.
