In the event of a veterinary emergency outside of our normal hours, please contact the out-of-hours emergency service at
020 4571 4435.
Your call will be answered by a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) from our trusted partners at
Veteris. The RVN will assess the situation and provide advice if home care is appropriate. If your pet requires further attention, the RVN will either arrange for a vet to visit your home or recommend a consultation at one of their Intensive Care Unit locations.
Veteris’ vets are highly skilled and can provide a range of treatments at home, including administering intravenous fluids, taking blood samples, or performing ultrasound exams. However, if hospitalisation is unavoidable, once your pet has been stabilized and made comfortable, the vet will arrange for a transfer to their own Intensive Care Unit at
Veteris-Shoreditch, 51 Hoxton Square, N1 6PB, London, ensuring seamless, continuous care.
All
Veteris vets are trained in low-stress handling techniques and carry the necessary equipment and medications to ensure your pet remains comfortable. We receive detailed reports promptly, which are added to your pet’s medical records at Bayswater Referral.
